Nicaraguan Waves - Photographic print by John Guillote
Husband and wife, John Guillote and Becca Chandler explore the world at six mph aboard their sailboat, Halcyon, documenting their journey through alluring photos and vivid stories. This photograph was taken on Playa Gigante, a beautiful crescent-shaped cove on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. Here is how John described the scene, "Halcyon bobbed gently at anchor as we wandered the beach, stretching our legs after the long passage at sea. We lingered as the sun sank lower over rock outcroppings, carved out and worn smooth from the waves that now exploded against them in front of us. It was a magnificent show of nature, and an evening we will not soon forget." halyconwandering.com
